About

ABOUT BOBUCK MILLS

Owned and operated by the same three families since its opening in 1952, BoBuck Mills is an industry leader in closing tapes and handles for mattresses. With sample and finishing services, as well as an on-site testing lab, our narrow fabrics can be made to custom specifications, ensuring our clients receive only the best materials for their final products.

our history

BoBuck Mills opened its doors in 1952 in Chesterfield, SC. Three men, Charles Little, Henry Little, Jr. and Harry Hodges started the mill to make narrow fabrics primarily used as closing tapes for the mattress industry.

Over the years, other industries have used BoBuck tapes, including parachute manufacturers, who have used our narrow fabrics as parachute cords and harness connectors. Currently, 98% of our narrow fabrics are used within the mattress industry.

Owned and operated by the same three families since 1952, BoBuck Mills is the oldest company in America, as well as the industry leader, still producing narrow fabrics for mattresses.
